RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY FEBRUARY 12TH 11 AM - 12 PM
The Sheffield Historical Society will be holding a program on Saturday, February 12 from 11 AM - 12 PM for kids ages 4-12 where they can make their own Victorian style Valentine. The program is in collaboration with and will be held at the Bushnell-Sage Library. While they create with paper and embellishments, led by a paper craft artist and an art educator, we will talk about the tradition of exchanging cards and how greeting cards changed over the years. Examples of late 19th & early 20th C. greeting cards from the museum collection will be shown. The young artists will have the option of taking their cards home or having them displayed as part of the greeting card exhibit in the Old Stone Store. The program is free and open to the public, masks are required and social distancing will be followed. For more information and to sign up visit sheffieldhistory.org.
