Become part of local photographer Thad Kubis and his “Berkshire Photographic
Portrait Project ”. This public library based project will capture, (using both flash and
continuous lighting as well as images in color and/or B & W digital technology), portraits of Berkshire residents, who register and attend one of the sessions taking place at the participating public libraries listed below.

Lee Library – Tuesday, February, 20th , 2018 - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Mason Public Library – Tuesday, April 3rd , 2018 - 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Mason Public Library – Tuesday, April 10th , 2018 - 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Project’s Goal
The goal of this project is to develop an online, portrait gallery, of Berkshire residents, as
well as to develop an on demand, on line and printed photographic book, of selected
portraits. There is NO fee for participating in this project, Participant’s will be asked to
sign a photographic release form. Email copies of the images/portraits as jpeg files will
be provided free of charge to any Berkshire resident who sit for the project. Individual,
family, and groups are welcomed to participate with the restrictions indicated above.
Pre-Registration is required.
To participate you will need to pre-register for any of the locations listed, to do so please
call Thad at 917.597.1891, each portrait session (individual or family) has been allocated
15 minutes, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled session.
Families/groups are requested to register for a single session, allocating 15-minute
segment for the portrait.
