Children’s Art: Poetry & Haiku

April is National Poetry Month! Join us for a poetry and art program focusing on haiku. We’ll create haiku, and then create a piece of artwork to accompany our poem. Participants will have the option to handwrite their poem, or to try typing it up on a vintage typewriter.

Finished pieces will be displayed in the Youth area of the library for the month of April, and can be collected at the end of the month to take home.

Spaces are limited. Please sign up.

Children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during this program.
Children under 12 must have a parent or guardian present in the library for the duration of this program.
